The Parlor palm or Parlour palm (Chamaedorea elegans) is a small, attractive palm tree that is native to Mexico and Central America.  It is a popular houseplant in India due to its low maintenance and tolerance for low light conditions.

Parlor palm is also known as the Neanthe bella palm or the dwarf mountain palm. The parlor palm has slender, graceful fronds that are made up of long, thin, dark green leaves. It has a slender trunk with a crown of fronds on top, and it can grow up to 4-6 feet tall when grown indoors. It is a slow-growing plant, so it is not necessary to prune it regularly. 

The parlor palm is also very drought tolerant, so it does not need to be watered frequently. It is a great plant for beginners and is easy to care for, making it a popular choice for indoor gardens and offices.
